Save Money on Home Repairs
In our area there are three hardware store (and maybe more) within about 15 minutes driving time. In fact, now that I think about it I believe there are four. Yup, Google Maps confirmed such a number. Anyway, there’s another place I can drive to that is a little further away (I think its closer to 25 minutes) that sells various things that are ’seconds’ or donations from contractors that don’t need them. When I visited them earlier this year they had been given by one housing contractor forty-eight thousand cabinet doors. If you had the cabinets’ dimensions and the will to stain or paint the doors you could have saved a huge amount of money. Bud’s warehouse had a great selection of things that I could buy for a small percentage of what the big stores were selling for, and on top of that they help out people trying to get back on their feet after various hardships in life.
Take some time to look in your area, if you know anyone who is a contractor ask them if they know of a place. You can save a lot of money if they have what you need and you’ll also be able to up the value of your home - its like two wins for the price of one
