Goals for 2008
As was done by GLBLGuy on the Gather Little By Little blog, I’m going to post some of my blog and financial goals for 2008. These goals are pretty important since they define a vision, and should help set the course for the year. Of course the thing with courses is that they often grow obstacles or mountain ranges. The upside is that the 2008 year will have some great views from those mountain tops.
- Pay off all of my debts - this is a high goal since our projections to do so looked like they would take 18 months. Doing it in 12 would be quite a leap ahead of schedule.
- Blog 3 posts a week on this blog.
- Establish a path for long term financial goals, and blog that path.
- Record a podcast or two a week.
- Establish a better relationship with other personal finance bloggers. Its easy to stay focused on this blog - but as a community we have to work together to better the financial knowledge of our readers - and people who aren’t normally our readers.
- Â Put together a focused series each month on a topic of interest.
- Figure out how to save $100.00 or more each month on different things to help increase the value of my dollar.
- Have a guest post every month from at least one different blogger.
- Contribute at least one ‘how to’ tutorial with pictures describing some financially beneficial activity.
- Post a theologically oriented post on Sundays.
What things on this list would you like to see most? Is something missing on this post? What goals do you have for 2008?
