Video Podcast: Credit Cards Are Evile (Sometimes)
There’s a slight chance that you’ll watch the video and laugh. Or be jealous that the Estes Park area is beautiful - pay cash and go visit Estes Park, CO.
This podcast is about how credit cards are not a great choice for most people most of the time.

Sometimes i hestitate to tell folks how my credit card pays for our vacation every year. Each year we earn enough “points” to get seven (or more) certificates for a nights stay at a Marriott/Fairfield Inn. We pay for nearly everything with a credit card.
The catch, of course, is that we pay it off every month. No exceptions.

James, as this video implies: credit cards can be evil. This video series was focused more on teenagers (and anyone else) who might not have self control, and therefore find themselves in a lot of debt due to a lack of foresight with credit use. There are a bunch of folks out there who maximize their rewards and do well with it. Unfortunately in my current state that would be a poor choice. Maybe in five years I could work that out OK.
I’m working on a post about my modified view on credit cards (from absolutely evil all of the time to potential money makers in the right financial plan and system).
