Blunderbuss

Idiot Test A blunderbuss is a type of archaic gun, but that being said, I made a big blunder last night and am totally embarrassed by my own dimwittedness. We went to dinner with my sister and her husband and had to split from the table quickly so that I could go pick up the girls from my parents, one of which had started feeling ill. I had handed cash to the waitress and said, “Keep the change.” I’m an idiot. She would have been able to keep change… negative 48 cents to be exact. Negative. As in I foolishly underpaid and didn’t tip, even though the service had been good and the food came out as ordered and she had checked on us multiple times. Kindly my sister and brother-in-law picked up the difference and gave her an extra tip for my half, too.

I now owe them a bit and wish that I had not been such a goober in my rush to leave. Have you ever done this? I feel like I can’t be alone, but that may be rooted in me not wanting to be alone in my imbecilic behavior.
